How to Make a Double Strand Beaded Wrap Bracelet

Double-strand beaded wrap bracelets come in all shapes, sizes, colors and styles. Even though they vary greatly, they remain stylish across different trends that come and go. Although there are different ways to make this bracelet, there is one simple way even jewelry novices can complete. Once you understand how jewelry-making works, you can move on to more complex designs.

Instructions

    1

Tie one thread with a double or triple knot to one end of the clasp. Allow a generous amount of thread -- more than you need for the bracelet -- and cut the it. Add a second string to the same side of the clasp at the same length.

    2

Place beads along one strand until you have enough beads to make the bracelet the length you want it to be. If you don't know how many beads this takes, periodically check by holding the beads in place and wrapping the strand around your wrist to assess how much longer or shorter the bracelet should be.

    3

Tie the end of the beaded strand to the side of the clasp you haven't used yet. It may be easier to disconnect the two sides of the clasp while making the bracelet to make it easier with which to work.

    4

Cut off any excess thread after you have securely tied it to the end of the clasp.

    5

Repeat the entire process for the second strand of beads.

    6

Wrap the bracelet around your wrist and connect the two ends of the clasp together.
