A Turkish puzzle ring is a beautiful and intricate piece of jewelry. Puzzle rings are made of a number of smaller bands that intertwine with each other to form a larger band that appears to have been weaved together. Puzzle rings were originally designed for Turkish noblemen as gifts to their wives, and have since become popular with people around the world. Solving a Turkish puzzle ring does take a little time, but you will be rewarded with a beautiful ring for all your hard work.

Instructions

    1

Hold the ring in your hand and locate the two V-shaped sections of the ring. Two of the rings will have a very distinctive V-shape to them, while the others will have another crooked shape to them. Hold the two V-shaped rings back to back so that one points upwards and one downwards.

    2

Move the remaining two rings to the bottom and cross them so that their designs form the shape of an "X." As you slide the bottom rings into the "X" shape, one will rest on top of the V-shaped bands and one will rest on the bottom, enclosing them in a figure 8 design.

    3

Take one of the V-shaped rings and slide it around until the point of the "V" connects with the bottom of the crossed rings. Push down on the band until the ring rests flush with the two crossed bands.

    4

Twist the remaining V-shaped band until it connects with the opposite side of the crossed rings, pushing down the band until it rests against the other three bands.
