How to Open a Pandora Ribbed Clip Charm

Pandora is a jewelry company based in Denmark. Founded in 1982, the company made its initial public offering on October 5, 2010. Through numerous external retailers and individual company stores, Pandora sells an array of pieces, many of which are customizable. Their bracelet design consists of a simple cable, allowing wearers to personalize their jewelry by selecting from an assortment of charms. Ribbed clip charms distinguish between parts of a bracelet, creating sections.

Instructions

    1

Hold the Pandora ribbed clip charm between your thumb and forefinger.

    2

Locate the hinge on the charm -- the small pin connecting both halves. The opening of the clip charm will be directly opposite, or 180 degrees from the hinge.

    3

Push into the clip charm's opening with your other hand's thumbnail, directing the lower half away from the upper half. You will hear a noticeable click when the charm opens. Be careful not to apply too much pressure to avoid breaking the charm.

    4

Place the open clip charm underneath the cable bracelet, allowing the cable to fit into the charm's circular groove.

    5

Close the clip charm around the bracelet cable.
