How to Open the Back of L.A.M.B. Watches

L.A.M.B. is the fashion label by the pop singer and style icon Gwen Stefani. An acronym of Stefani's first solo album "Love Angel Music Baby," the L.A.M.B. line features everything from clothing and handbags to fragrance and watches. L.A.M.B. watches, known for their signature garnet-colored stone in the crown and script lettering, eventually need to have their batteries replaced. You must open the back of the watch in order to remove the old battery.

Instructions

Screw-off Back

    1

Inspect the back of your L.A.M.B. watch to determine what type it is. If it has notches around the edges, it is a screw-off back. Line up the prongs on the back of your watch using a case holder tool.

    2

Hold the back of your L.A.M.B. watch casing in one hand, twist the tool counterclockwise.

    3

Remove the back of the watch.

Pressure-fit Back

    4

Inspect the back of your L.A.M.B. watch. If it is plain and smooth with a small dent along the side, it is a pressure-fit back.

    5

Place a watchmaker's case knife into the dent.

    6

Apply pressure to the knife. Move it side to side to pry off the back.

Four-Screw Back

    7

Look at the back of your L.A.M.B. timepiece to see if it is attached with four screws in each corner. If so, obtain the correct Phillips watch screwdriver.

    8

Turn the screwdriver counterclockwise into each screw.

    9

Remove the screws and the back of the L.A.M.B. watch.
