Do it Yourself Jewelry Holder

A wide assortment of jewelry is a must-have for many women and girls. A great necklace can help take an outfit from casual to elegant in a matter of moments, and a few chunky bracelets can create a fun, funky bohemian look. But, what do you do when you have amassed too much jewelry and have nowhere to put it? Fortunately, for the craft lover, there is an easy way to make your own jewelry holder at home.

Instructions

    1

Remove the glass from an old picture frame. Cut out the backing with a utility knife.

    2

Plug in your hot glue gun. Take your metal mesh and hold it up to the back of the frame. Use wirecutters to cut the mesh the same size as the frame. Hot glue the edges of the mesh to the back of the frame.

    3

Turn the frame over. Line up the drawer pull knobs along the bottom of the frame, spacing them however you'd like. Once you have them where you want them, use a screwdriver to attach them to the frame.

    4

Screw in the hooks, spaced according to your preferences, along the top of the frame.

    5

Hammer two nails into the top left and top right corners of the frame, parallel to one another. Attach the ribbon to the nails, and use this to hang the jewelry holder.

    6

Nail a nail into your wall. Hang the jewelry holder from the nail by the ribbon. Loop your earrings into the mesh and hang bracelets and necklaces from the knobs and hooks.
