How to Fix Pandora Jewelry That Has Been Damaged from Chemicals

Pandora jewelry is something many women in the United States wear; bracelets are among the most enjoyed item from the Pandora collection because of the ability to decorate them with charms purchased through Pandora. The charm bracelet allows you to create your own personalized look, which makes your bracelet different than those of anyone else. One thing to consider before purchasing Pandora jewelry is that it is easily damaged by contact with chemicals; these chemicals include cleaning solvents, perfumes and perspiration. Depending on the extent of chemical damage to your jewelry, there are a few things you can do to fix it -- or at least marginally improve it.

Instructions

    1

Attempt to clean off damaged jewelry by washing it with warm, soapy water and a soft toothbrush. This will not remove the damage caused by contact with chemicals but it can improve the look of the jewelry.

    2

Replace the pearls on your jewelry; this is the only way to fix them once they are damaged by chemicals. The pearls are sensitive and cannot be fixed once any damage has been done.

    3

Wash your jewelry with silver polish to remove discoloration from chemicals; do not use silver polish on Pandora jewelry with pearls. Chemicals cause silver jewelry to become dull and dark over time and using a silver polish will brighten it up and clean it.
