How to Adjust Rado Ceramica Bracelets

Rado Ceramica watches, which trace their roots to 1957, are manufactured in Switzerland with a scratch-proof face made of sapphire. Rado Ceramica wristwatches have a bracelet or band that is adjustable to give you the fit you want. A watch that is too large for your wrist will turn so you cannot see the face or will slide down on your arm. If the bracelet is too large it also has a risk of catching on things and breaking the band. Rado bracelets have removable links with straight link pins to ensure a personalized fit for you.

Instructions

    1

Place your Rado Ceramica watch on your wrist and push the clasp into the watch band bracelet to secure it. Examine the fit and determine how many links require removal for the bracelet to fit you.

    2

Remove the watch and set it on a flat surface with the watch face facing down. Align a small punch with a straight link pin that has an arrow on it. Place the punch on the side of the link pin where the arrow begins. This is the straight part of the arrow and not the tip of the arrow.

    3

Hold the watch in place on the flat surface and strike the punch with a small hammer until it protrudes from the side of the bracelet with the arrow tip. Pull the pin out of the bracelet with needle-nose pliers. Repeat this process to remove as many links as needed for the bracelet to fit your wrist. Set the extra links and pins aside.

    4

Align the two halves of the bracelet so the pin holes are aligned. Insert an extra pin into the holes and tap the pin into place with a small hammer to hold the two pieces together.
