How do I Adjust a Watchband from Smart Link?

The Smart Link is part of the Fossil line of watches for men and women. Even though these watches are fashionable, they can be difficult to wear if they are too big. Fortunately, you do not need a jeweler to size your Smart Link watch. You can adjust the watchband yourself with a few simple tools. This can keep you from going to a jeweler, saving time and money.

Instructions

    1

Try on your Smart Link watch. Pinch the band together underneath your wrist. Count how many links are between your fingers. This will let you know how many links you need to remove.

    2

Remove your watch and place it on a flat surface. Stand the Smart Link watch on its side. Look for the holes on the sides of the links and the clasp. These will help you remove the links from the watch.

    3

Place the tip of the link pin in the small hole. Push it all the way through to the opposite side. Remove the bar with pliers.

    4

Repeat the steps for to remove any additional links from your Smart Link watch.

    5

Join the clasp to the rest of your watch. Hold them together while inserting a free bar into one of the holes. Push it all the way through until you hear a click. Repeat this step for any other holes in your watch.
