Picture charm bracelets commemorate special events or people in your life. The style of bracelet you design depends on the subject of your photos and your personal design tastes. With all of the premade, easy-to-assemble picture charm bracelet jewelry pieces available in crafts and jewelry stores and online, you can, with a bit of preparation, build your own picture charm bracelet.

    Select your pictures. Select pictures with clear images that you can easily zoom in on to crop and resize.

    Buy a bracelet to fit your wrist. Bracelet types include bracelets with premade blank circles, squares or rectangles, single band, and double band. For example, you might buy a circle bracelet that comes with blank spots for photos and spaces between to attach picture and/or non-picture charms. Build-your-own picture charm bracelet kit also exist, as do individual frames that you can link together.

    Select accessories (additional blank pictures on pendants, polished stones and/or gemstones) and charms (wooden, metal, thread) to go with your blank bracelet and your personal style.

    Scan or upload your photos into photo editing software or to an online photo editing applications such as Zygomatic's Free Online Photo Editor or Pixlr and edit. Remove redeye, zoom in and resize to the dimensions (size and shape) of your blank frames.

    Print your photos on photo paper and dry.

    Cut out your pictures. Cut them slightly larger than the frames to confirm that you resized them on screen to match the size of inside of the frame. Keep in mind, you can always reduce the size if the picture is too large, but if it's too small you will need to reprint.

    Use double-sided tape or glue to attach your photos to the frame blanks. Cover with any premade covers that came with the frames or with a photo-safe clear lacquer.

    Attach any accessories or charms using pliers.
