The Different Types of Styles to Make Earrings

Earrings are jewelry items that are attached to a person's ears through piercings in the earlobes or, occasionally, some other external parts of the ears (except in the case of clip earrings, which are clipped onto the lobes). Hoop

Hoop earrings are another popular type of earring. Angelina Jolie is the queen of the hoop earrings. As the name implies, hoop earrings are round or slightly oval and run through the piercing in the ears. Hoops come in many circumferences that range from tiny to shoulder dusting.

Slave

Another type of earring is called the slave earring. The studs of these earrings are connected to the ear cuffs by delicate chains. Another variation includes a cartilage pierce that is worn higher on the ear. This type of earring is worn in many cultures and traditional Indian brides wear them.

Chandelier

As the name of this type implies, these earrings have multi-level branches hanging down from their base. Typically, gemstone briolettes (gems shapped like tear drops) hang from the branches.
