Quartz movement watches use quartz crystal to give you the time. You will find that most quartz movement watches have a chain-link band. Sometimes the band may be too loose, especially if you have a smaller than average size wrist. Instead of taking your watch to a jeweler for a sizing, you can just size the watch yourself. You can use a pin pusher, a small metal stem with a flat end, or a straightened out paper clip. This saves you money from going to the jeweler, especially if your watch is older.
