How to Get in a Corkscrew Nose Ring Easily

Several different options of nose jewelry are available. From traditional nose rings, to straight studs and nose pins, each has its own technique of insertion. Some nose rings have a corkscrew design which helps the nose jewelry stay in place but also fit comfortably. The top of the ring is straight, but the bottom of the corkscrew is twisted so it sits right under the nose.

Instructions

    1

Disinfect all your materials. Wash your hands and your nose with soap and water.

    2

Dip the corkscrew nose ring in a saline solution and let it dry completely.

    3

Insert the end of the corkscrew into your nose from the outside, making sure it goes in as straight as possible. Slide it until you hit the "U" or corkscrew shape, which won't allow you to push any further.

    4

Twist the nose ring in a clockwise or counterclockwise motion like you are screwing in a light bulb. If the piercing is not going in, switch up the motion you are using. For example if you are trying to insert it with a clockwise motion and it won't go in, twist it with a counterclockwise motion.

    5

Insert a finger into your nose to feel the piercing. Check that the piercing is inserted into your nose correctly and goes along with the contours of your nose.
