How to Make Bracelets Made With Leather and Swarovskis

Embellished leather bracelets lend a little glitter to the beachy-bohemian movement. Unfortunately, they can be expensive in stores and often come in a limited selection of colors and sizes. Making your own tie-on leather bracelet is quick and easy. Add Swarovski crystals and wear a whole stack at once for a dramatic effect.

Instructions

    1

Wrap the leather cord around your wrist to determine the length. Add another five or six inches for the ties, then cut the cord. Repeat as desired if you're making a stack of bracelets.

    2

Lay the cord strips on a flat surface. Using the ruler as a guide, mark even intervals on the cord by pressing down with the tip of the pen. If you have different colors of crystals, test out your pattern ideas by laying the crystals on the cord.

    3

Pick up a crystal with your tweezers and apply a dab of craft epoxy to the crystal. Add another drop to the pre-marked spot on your leather cord, and hold for a moment to allow the glue to become tacky.

    4

Press the crystal to the leather, holding it in place until the bond is firm. Repeat as desired until you have applied all of your crystals. Tie on your bracelet and cut off any excess cord.
