How to Make Bauble Bracelets

The bauble bracelet is a timeless piece of jewelry that never goes out of style. You can design them in a bold and boisterous fashion or opt for a softer, more demure statement. Bauble bracelets are a go-anywhere accessory that you can wear for a casual affair or an evening of elegance.

Instructions

    1

Mold the 15g wire into a circle that fits your wrist, then cut the wire to fit your wrist plus 2 inches. Grip one end with your round tip pliers. Twist to make a small end loop (large enough for the lobster claw clasp to fit through.) The loop turns to the opposite direction of the bracelet center.

    2

Slide one bead cap onto the wire, open end facing away from the loop. Separate the 5mm beads in half. Using half the 5mm beads, slide them onto the wire. Next, slide on a spacer bead. Slide the 5 lampwork beads onto the wire, alternating with the remaining spacers in between. End lampwork beads with a spacer bead. Fill the bracelet with remaining 5mm beads.

    3

Place the remaining bead cap flush with the last 5mm bead. Slide the circular end of the lobster claw clasp onto the end of the wire. The lobster claw clasp opening will face the center of the bracelet. There should be enough wire remaining to make another small end loop.

    4

Grip the end with the round nose pliers. With your free hand, twist the wire toward the bracelet center, keeping the lobster claw clasp within the loop. If there is any excess wire, snip with wire cutters. Using the flat nosed pliers, press the loop, avoiding the lobster claw clasp, to make an even, closed circle. Leave enough room between the looped ends of the bracelet for the clasp.
